Chevron’s Seafield House in Aberdeen was refurbished to provide open-plan work areas and cellular meeting rooms for the company’s staff. To aid differentiation between otherwise similar furnished spaces we created a colour and image-coding system to introduce large scale graphics into each wing. These acted as bright, colourful visual landmarks, aiding orientation and navigation. They were backed up by a comprehensive modular wayfinding system to give directions to wings, levels, meeting rooms and other facilities. The quality of the office space has been considerably enhanced and feedback from staff has been extremely positive.
