From an early stage, it’s critical that we fully understand the functional and aesthetic requirements of the particular project. So we work closely with architects, interior designers, landscape architects and other design professionals to make sure our work is fully integrated with other disciplines.
We analyse pedestrian and vehicle traffic flows, plot access, egress and circulation routes, and from here, develop a comprehensive wayfinding strategy for the entire site. We can then plan, develop and programme an information system. And finally, design all the necessary delivery mechanisms.
Wayfinding, of course, is far more than just signage, so we play close attention to the role that colour, images, landmarks, texture, finishes and lighting have to play in creating spaces that are easy to navigate.
